Pramod graduated from Nagpur University and had his post graduate training in 1974 from the All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Bombay, India. After his graduation in 1972, Pramod worked out of an Acute Care General Hospital for 4 years doing general and orthopedic physical therapy, a reputable Rehab. Center in New Mexico for 3 years doing Medical Rehab., Medical College of Georgia Hospitals & Clinics for 5 years as the Team Leader and Clinical Instructor. Pramod had also worked as the supervisor of newly established Burn Center at the University Hospital Stony Brook for over 3 years and lectured at the School of Allied Health Sciences at Stony Brook, New York. Pramod is in Private Practice since 1987. Prior to developing his own state of the art physical therapy center in 1992, Pramod was a consultant physical therapist and the member of the professional advisory committee at Brook Haven Memorial Hospital and Medical Center, Patchogue, New York for 7 years. He is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor. In addition to being a P.T., Pramod is also a Board Certified Pedothist. He received his pedorthic training at Northwestern University, Chicago, and at O.S.U. Okmulgee. He is the chief physical therapist and owner of the Comprehensive Physical Therapy and Rehab. Services.
Mr. Bhanti is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He also holds membership in New York chapter and the private practice section of the APTA and is a member of the Pedorthic Footwear Association.(PFA). As a past Rotary member Pramod and his wife Poonum hosted a child along with his parents for the life saving heart surgery under the Rotary's Gift of Life program in 1992 and 1994.
